£10m in grant funds allocated over the next four years.

We’re pleased to read today that the Access Foundation has announced a further £10m of Reach grant funding over the next four years. The funding is to support charities and social enterprises to access social (repayable) finance. Their aim is to reach a further 1000 organisations (England Only) and support them to develop their investment proposals.

This is good news for social enterprises, but also good news for us as an organisation. Many of you will be aware we have been providing investment readiness support over the past few years and have helped organisations, such as Gro Organic, The SWEET Project, Wellington Orbit and Ordinary Magic (the Magic Bean Coffee Shop) access more than £800,000 in social investment.

We work closely with a number of social investors, who are also “access points” for the Reach funding and can help you navigate these. We can even introduce you if that is your preferred route. So, if you are thinking about sustainability and considering how social investment may help your organisation develop and grow do not hesitate to get in touch info@disecic.org.
