A new Social Economy Growth programme for early-stage organisations is now open for applications (short window apply by 4th February (see below)
What’s on Offer?
A peer‑learning initiative designed to help emerging social enterprises, community businesses (CICs), cooperatives and charities strengthen their business skills, grow their trading income, and increase their impact.
This fully‑funded programme supports organisations based in the West Midlands with priority given to those operating in Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton (ideally organisations focusing on Employment, Health and/or Social Care).
Participants will join a supportive learning community, gain practical tools to build confidence and resilience, and receive a £1,000 grant to boost their organisation’s development during the programme.
Aims
The programme aims to help organisations grow through:
- Increasing trading income
- Reducing reliance on grant funding
- Creating jobs
- Deepening their social impact across the region
