A quick post to say we’ve had a look at the levelling up funds approved that were announced in yesterday’s budget. We’re pleased to see that Birmingham City Council has done quite well, particularly pleased that Moseley Road Baths (see our case study here) is on the successful list, alongside Wheels and then the Dudley Road improvements. These successful bids total c.£52.6m.
So, sometime soon we should see:
- Remedial works starting to happen at the Wheels Site (Bordesley)
- Scaffolding crop up around Moseley Road Baths (Balsall Heath)
- Diversions around Dudley Road (crosses boundaries)
